About

I’m Zach Koncir, a principal engineer with more than 15 years in infrastructure. I came up through network operations and DevOps, led an AWS consulting practice, and now work on a platform that runs some of the world’s most-played online games. Lately my work centres on one question: how do engineers stay in charge as AI agents take on more of the work?

Why one24

For most of my life I raced motocross, and 124 was the number on my plate. Years later the number came back: my first daughter was born on December 4, 12/4. So one24 is two things I care about, neither of which has anything to do with software, which is sort of the point.
